Operations Training – our first test of web-based courses!

Sign-up now for the first web-based training session offered by ASPS on 3 Mondays – December 5th, 12th, 19th from 7:00-9:00 p.m.! We’re testing our first on-line course capabilities using our Operations Training course taught by P/D/C Danny Tompkins. Thank you to Eric Ringwall for the use of his conference bridge and web conference platform to perform this test and help us move into the future of educational opportunities – give us your vote by signing up and giving us your responses. All members, ExComm members and Bridge Officers are encouraged to attend and the maximum seats are 25 for this free course. We will also be opening this offer to District 17 members so reserve your seat early.

Operations Training is a part of the overall USPS Leadership Development program and is great way to understand the overall structure and responsibilities within the U.S. Power Squadrons(r), covering how Squadron bridge and committees work, the overall USPS structure and accessing helpful information through the USPS website. It is especially helpful for newer members but good for all members to understand. This course is also required for the Senior Navigator completion. Signup today through the web and provide your email address. Eric will then email you a conference bridge number to call into and a link to click on in order to access the class. If you’ve never used this technology before, call in 30 minutes ahead of the first class in order to download software.
