Caribbean Cruise! UPDATED

The Princess Caribbean cruise planned for next October 28th  thru November 4th  is indeed becoming exciting. Cruise Sale Extended. Some 33 people have signed up to date, with more on the horizon. Friends, neighbors, and relatives are all welcome. From November 2nd  (this Wednesday) until November 16th there will be another window of opportunity in which interested people may secure a deposit with only $100 per person, refundable up until 75 days prior to debarkation.

There are many other bonuses and credits, including a $50.00 per cabin room credit. Military veterans are eligible for an additional $50.00 for inside cabins to $100.00 for ocean view cabins room credit, and, when paid with an American Express card, are eligible for a free bottle of champagne and 2 free meals at Sabatini’s, one of the ship’s specialty restaurants. These bonuses are not automatic. You must contact Rita Harvey to sign up for them. As a bonus, Princess will rebate our Squadron the cost of one berth for every eight cabins we book. Ports of call include Princess Cays, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, and Grand Turk. So get off your duffs and book your reservations. We can’t wait to see you there.

The ASPS Annual Leaf Cruise

Saturday November 5th

This year we will start from the Guest Dock below the Legacy Lodge at Lake Lanier Islands. We will leave at 11:00 for a relaxing cruise up the Chattahoochee River towards the Olympic Rowing Venue. Bring something to share when we raft-up. After returning to the docks those who will can dine at Bull Frogs Bar and Grille.

Winterizing Seminar

October 15th

West Marine on Lanier Islands Pkwy (Friendship Rd) is having a WINTERIZING class starting at 0930 Saturday October 15 and will last approximately 1 to 1 ½ hrs.

Even if you don’t do and don’t plan to do your own winterizing, come see what should be done for a complete, proper job.   Ken Cochran has been doing business in the area since he started working with his dad as a boy.   Ken will answer any questions and explains what needs to be done to the whole boat.

It is free, coffee and snacks will be provided.

Call the store at 470-202-1050 or just pop by Saturday the 15th before 0930.  Education is what the Squadron is about.

GPS Seminar

This basic seminar is a great “starter” for getting the most out of your GPS device. This seminar is being taught by Douglas Townes and is offered to ASPS members and the general public.
